WHAT TO EXPECT ON A SUNDAY

We meet at 10:30 AM every Sunday morning for our main time together as a whole church family at our building on North Bridge Street, Hawick.

AS YOU ARRIVE

Our church is a big mix of people, so come as you are. As you arrive, someone will greet you at the door and show you to a seat.

DURING THE SERVICE

In our service we look to worship God as we:

  • Preach and read from the bible, which we believe is God's word.
  • Sing a mix of old and new hymns as a way of encouraging each other and praising God.
  • Pray to God as those who need His help.

Sometimes on a Sunday you’ll also see someone get baptised, and if you come on the first Sunday of the month you will see us share the Lord's table. Both these things point to what Jesus has done, and our share in that through faith.

AFTER THE SERVICE

The service will finish around 11:40, and then tea, coffee, and biscuits are served. This is a chance for us to chat together and meet anyone new.

WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?

  • Children under 5 can head through to the creche room with their parent/guardian where there are loads of toys and a live video feed from the church service.
  • Children ages 5-11 leave part way through the service and head to our church hall (the Well) for a bible lesson (with songs, games and crafts) from our amazing team of Sunday School leaders.
